69beers
My buddy just got drawn for a bull elk permit in KY! Since he basically won the lotto and doesn't want to piss away his chance at a once in a lifetime hunt, what is the best way to find a guide for an area very new to elk hunting? Obviously this is a very different situation than NM, CO or WY. for the past few years it has been 10 tags a year, then last year was 40, now he is one of 100 to be drawn. $10 for the drawing and another $25 for the tag.....unf***ing believable!!!!!!!!! sdkidaho
I would contact the local Fish and Game and see what they recommend. Generally speaking they are quite helpful with such things.
tucker301
I'd call Grandma Tharp, a Kentucky tobacco farmer. Her bull last year scored 324! It was taken on Starfire WMA. [ 08-21-2005, 05:44 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
