Also, if you look at the top right of your screen you will see a "search" feature. If you search on "barrel length" you'll find all the other threads where this was discussed. To give you a head start, I got the feeling from the articles and the discussions that a 28" was the one that seemed most preferred for an all-around length. Upland, waterfowl, turkey, etc... Robert II Posted September 16, 2005 Share Posted September 16, 2005 I felt that after reading the posts, that it was more personal preference than any real advantage, other than a longer sighting plain (28")and swing/follow through.
