John Edwards
What is the BEST Benelli for Argentina dove hunting? I am interested in a 20 gauge and do not know which model to order. Based on the details in the Benelli web site, I am considering the Montefeltro or the Legacy with a 26" barrel. Thanks in advance for your advice. 12Ringer
I own a legacy 12 ga and I love it. I was looking at the M1 20 ga for the same purpose.
birddog
Hi John. The best Benelli is the one that FITS! The two guns you're inquiring about are dimensionally 'set-up' different and the Legacy is about a half-pound heavier than the Montefeltro. throw that M-1 into the mix then you have three very capable 20ga. guns ... but they're very different from each other. get into a gunshop that has these guns in-stock (barrel length too) and pick-up/hold/shoulder and swing each one ... fit and feel are the most important factors when purchasing a shotgun. I don't mean to open another can of worms but, try out Beretta's 391 series 20's also. Franchi 620 & 720 models too
DavidF
I am in the same situation-I love my SBE but they dont make a 20. So I got my wife a Baretta391!! to use and I think I will shoot it some before deciding whatto get for myself.
