DMB58
I know this subject has been out there for a long time and maybe these questions have already been answered and I have failed to come across them but: 1) Does anyone know or is there a reliable Benelli technical resource that can tell me whether the lower receiver on the RH and LH models are the same and if so, if you purchased the RH bolt assembly could the gun accomodate a slug barrel ? What other modifications/parts were required (assuming you keep the LH safety). 2) Has anyone had a LH slug barrel made from one of these custom barrel makers and if so, who was it, did it work satisfactorily, what other parts did you need and (if you don't mind saying) how much. Thanks
tucker301
Ecept for the safety as you mentioned, the lowers are the same. Note that the carrier release and magazine release are on the RH side of both models. To make a RH gun, you'd need a bolt and a barrel. parkisaac
I was thinking that since the barrel extension seems to be threaded onto the barrel, how tough would it be to mate a lefty barrel extension to a fully rifled slug barrel?
