brownwood
Looking for a new shotgun and the Ultra Light caught my attention. I just have a few questions regarding the Ultra Light. How is the performance? What other shotguns does it compare to? Being 6lbs, is the recoil fairly low? Thanks
brownwood
Guess I'll just pick one up. Will the 24in. barrel on the UL be as accurate as a 28in. barrel when making longer range shots?
Guest GunCrazyD
heavier recoil due to it's lighter weight...laws of physics...and no..24 inch barrel will reduce downrange accuracy by a bit...
Remy
Is the Ultra Light offered with a 26" barrel? Might be a good choice for this model.
Guest GunCrazyD
no...24 inch only....
RivrBouy
I'VE PURCHASED A NEW ULTRA LITE IN SEPT.,AS OF NOW,I'VE USED FOR 16YD TRAPSHOOTING AN PHEASANTS ... I'VE PROBABLY SHOT OVER 500 ROUNDS THROUGH IT AND HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE WITH RECOIL OR TARGETING ... USING THE NEW CHOKES,I HAVE OPENED UP TO MOD. FOR EVERYTHING NOW ... MOST 16YD. TRAP TARGETS ARE DUST,IF I DO MY PART ... IT IS A REAL PLEASURE TO CARRY AND IT'S VERY NICE LOOKING ... I'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE 24" BARREL
birdbrooks
RivrBuoy, Is the wood on that gun solid, or some sort of a laminate or synthetic made to look like wood? Thanks! Bill
