claybrdr
I can't see any way to remove the Technogel pad and don't see anything in the accompanying literature except for stocks with screw on pads. I can't see any holes for screws in the pad and since the pad is supposedly "quick detachable", there must be a trick to it. Help!
tucker301
It's held in by a rim on the pad which fits into a groove in the butt of the stock. Give it a firm pull while twisting to one side. mudhen
Wrong pad Tucker. On the Super Sport, I think it's the same Gel Pad as on the Beretta Gel Tek guns. I think there is a metal clasp somewhere at the bottom of the pad. If you pull down on the clasp, it releases the pad. "The Gel-Tek recoil pad features a patented retaining clasp system that permits the easy and fast application and removal of the pad." mudhen - CA
tucker301
So, it's a SSII? Shoot! And I almost went an entire year without being wrong [ 12-29-2005, 02:13 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
mudhen
No, I think now you may be right. It's the Sport II that has the Beretta style pad. The SS pad should just twist off as you decribed. mudhen - CA
claybrdr
I looked to see if it had a device like the Teknys but it doesn't. I've been reluctant to tug on it for fear of messing it up.
