Paolo
I have a SBE Synthetic and I need to shorten the stock by 1" however I was told that it cannot be done without doing any major custom work to the stock. I absolutely need it shortened by at least 1"...1.5" would probably be best. Has anyone cut a synthetic stock on a SBE before? Any information on cutting Synthetic Stocks would be much appreciated. The gunsmith I spoke to said he can do it but he will have to do some custom work to it. He said I'll have to pay $200CDN if he needs to put a new pad on. Thanks! Benelli Southpaw
i think getting a pad is going to be the hardest part. if you can get one that will fit there shouldn't be anything to it as lone as you cut straight, i have done it to a youth model winchester before, but never an SBE. Paolo
The problem with cutting the synthetic stock is if I cut 1" then the holes where the pad screws go will be gone therefor I wont be able to put the pad on. Does anyone know where I can get just a flat thin pad for the SBE? Thanks Paul
