SkipD
I recently purchased a SBE II (my first Benelli) and had a question. I'm planning to use the gun this fall for waterfowl hunting and have been using a Browning Auto-5 up until last year. The Browning Auto-5 has a magazine cutoff which I use on occasion to lock the shells in the magazine and keep them from coming into the chamber while I unload the round in the chamber and quickly replace it with usually with one having a larger shot size. Is there a way to do this with the SBE II?
Drundel
Just cycle the action.
crazyhair
I guess it doesn't have a cutoff then?
Drundel
The SBE? No, if you just cycle the action with a shell already in there and NOT press the small button on the bottom it will just eject the shell in the chamber without loading one from the mag. I use that all the time when change from duck to goose load. Totally love the feature.

Same behavior for SBEII model. [ 08-26-2004, 07:38 AM: Message edited by: threeshot ]
