tucker301
I was afield with my new SBE2 on Saturday. One of the guys was telling me (and showing me) how the weapon could be modified to hold four rounds with the plug in place. He dissasembled the shotgun and pointed to a small groove on the bottom of the bolt carriage. He said that if this groove is filled with a hard material like JB Weld, it will allow the shotgun to hold the second shot in the feed elevator position directly beneath the bolt. That adds one to the total. I'm not seriously thinking of doing this, but it did arouse my curiosity.
Robert II
Yes, Can be done to "newer bolt carriers". There was a posting on this a while ago on the board. I did it to my 20 ga. Montrefeltro. Best, Robert
