BREAK–FREE’s Lubricant/Preservative

I have used it in the past. It is thicker and stays in place I recall. Works fine.

 

I prefer how CLP runs into cracks and down the rails. Also really like how it blackens synthethic stocks.

 

So, I prefer CLP, that's why I said it...

CLP . . . excellent stuff. If I remember right CLP has been the product that has come closest to meeting military specifications since the seventies when it was invented. Could be something better now but I haven't heard of it. I saw the breakdown as to how CLP compares to the milspec and it was pretty impressive. Didn't meet everything 100% but pretty close. Can't find that site now.

Anyway, I haven't found a reason to use anything else.
