Camo
I'm thinking about trading my SBE II off on a new Supersport. What would be a good money difference or would I be better to sell it myself? tucker301
Sell the SBE2 and buy the SS. The season of high demand for the SBE2 is over and dealers are looking to reduce inventories across the board. Trading will only p|ss you off.

Nope no problems I haven't used it since spring turkey season last April. Don't have much time to hunt anymore except turkey and I have two turkey guns that shoot great. I traded my old SBE on it and it's a shame to let it sit in the safe. I was thinking about doing some clays and like the looks of the SS. azwaterfowl
Tucker301, Thanks...a friend of mine cannot shoot 2 3/4" shells out of his SBE II, they always jam, he sent it back to Benelli this past month to see if they can fix it. Does the 3-dram mean that the mininum recommended load use is 3"shells 1 1/8 loads?
Team Benelli
Every sbe ive seen just takes some wear on the spring then it will or should shoot light loads

No. 3 drams indicates the powder charge. 1-1/8 oz. indicates the shot charge. The SBE2 will cycle, after break-in, any load of any length meeting those two minimum parameters. Follow this link for a guide to which shells (Federal) make the grade. http://www.federalcartridge.com/default.asp?pg=27&firearm=5 [ 03-11-2005, 03:41 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]

tucker301
Excellent point, my friend. If the trend continues, Kevlar may be the hottest fashion at the range.

Mine shot 1oz. find right out of the box. Infact, of the first 300 rounds or so, 250 were 1oz. Rios.
