atpatti
Greetings, Just before Billy Martin, the infamous New York Yankees and Oakland "As" manager, died in 1989 he wisely purchased a Benelli. It seems that Billy was an avid Skeet shooter and had recently retired his Remington 1100s for a then new model Benelli Montefeltro Super 90. Billy's Benelli, a 12 gauge with 28" barrel, came with two certificates of authenticity, one from his estate lawyer and the other from his widow Jilluann Martin. The Super 90 is in very good condition with a few small dings at the toe of the butt stock and a small rub mark on the left top of the receiver. I wonder if Benelli USA has a museum for guns with a celebrity history? Great shotgun, great man in the history of baseball.
