JDCaduceus
One more question. Can I add a pistol grip stock to my SBE II like the SBE Steady grip? If so, again who can I contact? Benelli? THanks
JDCaduceus
Of note, I just noticed in the accessory page that Benelli has a pistol grip stock for the M1/M3. Would this same pistol grip stock fit the SBE II? thanks
Turkeyfreak
Yes, the black is $99 and the camo is $150.
Deerslayer
Turkey how hard is it to change that stock?? Dont own SBEII but thinking of getting one. Also, any recommendations on choke for turkey???
tucker301
I may be wrong, but the product page lists the pistol grip stocks as fitting the SBE, not the SBEII. Therefore, I believe I'd be correct in saying that it will NOT fit the SBEII. As for chokes, the patternmaster or the terror are good choices. Be careful when ordering either for the SBEII, making sure that it is the new style for the Benelli Crio/Beretta Optima series.
Turkeyfreak
Tucker, there seems to be a lot of confusion here, so I may be wrong. However MY personal theory is this. The whole pistol grip stock thing started with the tactical shotguns. They just camo'd that stock and bolted it to the SBE's and it became very popular. There is now a steady grip stock that will fit the SBE II but you would be losing out on their new ComforTech stock technology. My theory aside, the SBE camo steady-grip stock is part no. 80039P The SBE II camo steady-grip stock is part no. 83160. They are both $149 Good luck Caduceus. BTW, are you a physician? tucker301
Turkeyfreak, Where are you finding the SBEII Steady Grip part number? I can't come up with it anywhere. Is there an online retailer listing it?
Turkeyfreak
Tucker, I got it from a local Benelli dealer. I can give you his number if you would like. Or just to double check, you may call your dealer and have him punch in the number and see if it is active in his system. It is new.
