JDCaduceus
I have an SBE II and would like to add a scope for when I turkey hunt. The scope should obviously go over the receiver. However, there are no holes for me to tap. I did notice that the SBE Steady Grip is tapped and ready for mount. I would like to have the same for my SBE II. Can this be done? If so, can Benelli do it for me? ANyone know who to contact? Any advise is greatly appreciated. thanks
tucker301
Any competent gunsmith can drill and tap the receiver for scope mounts.
JDCaduceus
Thanks Tucker. One question....is that a special plate on the SBE steady grip or just a mounting plate that any gunsmith can attach?
Deerslayer
What do you and birdog have in common???
tucker301
JD, You were asking about the SBEII. The gunsmith would simply drill and tap the top of the receiver to accomodate a standard weaver or leupold styled scope base. Deerslayer, Who are you asking?
