What is Hunter Efforts? I should probably know what all these things mean but I don't.

Hunter Efforts?

Ducks/HE - Ducks killed per effort?

# Hunts - number of times you went out I assume.

# Hunter Efforts?

If 12 birds were killed in a 3 man blind, there's 1 hunt, 12 ducks/hunt, and 3 hunter efforts, for 4 ducks/hunter effort.

So over the course of the year we hunted 22 days, but some days we had just 1 hunter, other days we had up to 4 hunters. I counted a hunt as how many blinds we used. If there were 6 of us hunting 2 blinds, I counted it as 2 hunts, and 6 hunter efforts. Does this make sense???

I personally had 17 hunter efforts, another words, I hunted 17 days.

Nutria are like a mix between a beaver and a muskrat, imported from some forein country. Can't really remember, I read an article about it last year. Also, the taste of the bird really has to do with what they eat. Geese in MT aren't half bad, they eat lots of grains. Geese in Alaska taste like maggots, because they eat lots of maggots. So I would guess that is the case with the Coots, but it might just be personal preference. :D
