MOFOWLER
mudhen: What part of Missouri were you hunting in? It's been tough here in SW MO. Get to go back home to west central MO saturday, so my luck might change.
mudhen
SW Missouri. It was red hot where we were. All henned up, but you just had to wait them out. The runners & gunners did poorly Fat arses that held their ground or moved sparingly through the woods did better My arse fits in the latter category... mudhen - CA

Saturday i have the whole day and i'm on my home turf so hopefully it will be better.
john h
Greetings from another Mo. turkey hunter, just north of Troy in kinda north central Mo. They were hot and bothered to say the least. LOTS OF RAIN!! Henned up but workable. Knocked down a 20# jake about 10:30 Sun. after 3 hard morns. I'll try to get a picture on after I get it off my buddies camera. If you couldn't get em' off the roost, it was a long wait, good luck guy's I'm going to do the family thing this weekend. John
tucker301
OK. Well, I don't know why I look like a dorky 12 yr. old Dorf in this, but here's a picture of the bird we got today. My buddy Tommy on the gun and me on the call He wasn't huge, we didn't weigh, and didn't measure the beard or the spurs. PS: Duplin Blackberry Wine is great! tucker301
Until I saw this, I hadn't realized how much weight I've lost since the surgery. As for you, kid... Proper English is important, so it would actually be "I'm bigger than he". The way you test it is simple. I'm bigger. He's bigger. Him's bigger. See how it works out? Furthermore, size wouldn't deter me one bit from swatting you like a bug

tucker301
Considering I'm 46, and have been through Hellnback in the last year, I thought I looked pretty good. /just need some legs now
sdkidaho
He pulled the sympathy card! Ok, ok, you look pretty good for 46 year old "guy". I mean, I'm not going to say you're hot or anything since I don't swing that way, but you know what I mean. Mel Gibson has "nothing" on you! But mostly because he probably doesn't have an SBE II [ 05-11-2006, 12:24 PM: Message edited by: sdkidaho ]

69beers
I made the first mount, and the second was done professionally. Unique to say the least.
tucker301
The first one is cool. The second one looks like it's from a horror movie or something.
sdkidaho
The second one, did they bronze the head and feet? Definitely unique. Not something I would do, but definitely unique. I like the first one - very nice looking. Hope to bag a turkey some day myself.
69beers
Well, sort of. They were actually brassed. I shipped him the whole head, legs, tail, and beard. He puts the head in with dermestid beetles and then metallizes them with you choice of bronze, brass, copper, nickle silver, or pewter.
