RE: chokes

Hello GreyHoundLover,

I would not suggest using a modified choke for shooting slugs. Improved Cylinder would be your safest bet. You should be able to pick up a IC at any sporting goods store. It may not be a Benelli choke however, other companies make chokes adaptable to your Benelli shotgun.

Hey guys!............Be aware,if you don't already know, that the old Benelli/Beretta chokes that have always been interchangable, are no longer such! The threads in the new Benelli generation of guns are different, but the old factory chokes will still fit the newer Beretta guns!

if you dont use clylinder chokes then you are running a big chance of bulging the barrell. As we all know a tighter choke "shrinks" the size of the barrel. So with a slug that fits the diameter of the barrel, or a sabot slug, you run the risk of damaging something. Go to your benelli dealer and order a cylinder choke. A cylinder choke is no choke at all, it is the same diameter as the rest of the cylinder. I bet you can also order one on the site here
