Turkeyfreak
This is a question to Nelligirl, but I feel it may help others. I have a SBE camo that is the green realtree pattern. I have been extremely anxious to get the pistol grip stock. I was recently at the NWTF National convention. The Benelli guy there said the camo version of these stocks are now available for $150. I went to my local dealer to order one. First he denied that they were available. After checking he found he could order one but it would not match my camo pattern. I am also getting my gun tapped for a scope mount. So it seems like I am doing all of these mods which are now standard on the new versions. I was considering trading up for a new SBE II, but it appears that the steady grip stock is NOT available on the SBE II, only the SBE. Also if you get the steady grip, you miss out on the new ComforTech features. So it seems I should stick with my current gun. Unfortunately, I will have to buy a black stock and send it in to get camo'd to match the rest of my gun. It seems like a lot of money and effort, but that is a cool feature. Is there anything new that I am missing out on? Am I understanding my options properly? Help?
