snakejake Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 I took the plug out of my SBE2 last weekend for the special goose season, but it would still only accept 2 3.5" shells in the magazine. Spur Collector Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Yeah, that's the way it is supposed to be... I did the same thing when I brought mine home. I called friends to ask. It's kind of a shame because the 3rd shell goes all but about 1/4". Seems like they could have made the magazine that little bit longer... Anyway, the only time I shoot 3 1/2" is at turkeys and you don't get that many shots then so I've come to accept it. But the SBEII is a totally awesome shotgun, and you can buy a magazine extension if you really want it. Just wait until you start shooting it. It points and follows up like nothing else.
