bsteele
Has anyone used the benelli turkey choke #.665 for a SBE2 ? I bought one the other day for an upcoming turkey hunt ? Please advise.
mudhen
I have not used the Benelli .665. Is this the Trulock one they show on the website and catalog? I'm getting some solid results from an unported Carlson .665 though. This chokes likes H-13 2.25 oz #6's and Federal HW #7's. Not bad with Win XR #6's, but not as good as the Jellyhead. I got 175 hits at 41 yards with the .665 and H-13 combo. With a .665, you might do well with larger pellets and/or a very heavy load like the H-13's I described above. bsteele
Yes, it is the trulock choke that Benelli advertises on the website and catalog. So, your suggestion is to use heavier loads with #6's or #7's ?
