wamshane
I was at a gun show today and two different dealers told me they did not carry the Benelli R1 because of shooters experiences with the rotary bolt action causing their scopes to change ... especially with magnum calibers. Any experience/feedback to the contrary or in alignment? I am looking at the R1 in 300 WSM.
tucker301
I'd never heard that one, but I do know that removing the barrel nut for cleaning will move zero.
parachute
I have a R1 300 WSM, after cleaning, the zero changes. Last year I zeroed in at home, then cleaned my rifle, got to Utah, shot at a target 100 yards away, I was six inches low. I made the adjustment, blew the X out of the target. I didn't clean it again till I got home. Got a 5 X 5 bull though. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't buy it. Al Carlson
