Sawyer 10
anyone here have the new winchester sx3? just curious if it shoots as fast as they have advertised
A2142Phantom 10
Yes. I do not have 1st. hand experience with the SX3. but there is no reason why it shouldn't. The SX3 also has a full-auto setting (just in case you didn't know).
SgtCathy 0
If you go to their web site, you can download a short film showing a professional shooter setting speed records with the SX3. The SX3 has an automatic gas-regulating system that lets it shoot very fast and helps with the perceived recoil feeling soft. It also has a number of performance features you can read about but remember it's still a Winchester, so when you take it apart you will see modern and cheap manufacturing procedures. TMAC 0
I own a SX2 which is very similar the SX3 from an operations standpoint. Contrary to the comments above you should not find it to be cheaply built, but a well constructed semi auto. I cannot comment too much on speed because any auto's I have ever owned shoot as fast as I can aim and pull the trigger. No full auto setting ha ha. I dont think you would be dissapointed with this gun.
Wildfowler 0
I have one and yes it is fast. depends though on how keen you are to quickly pull the trigger? Also have a Super Nova there both for wildfowling.
SgtCathy 0
I was comparing the manufactured internal parts with parts from my two Browning shotguns and Browning pump Trombone .22 and of course my two Benelli shotguns. *****s verses oranges.... my bad.
