Nikolai552 Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 Wow, i was impressed with the accuracy of a federal 3" Power-Shok slug. At 50 yards i hit a rotten tomato with my first shot. Those 3" slugs definitely kick the most out of anything i have used. Shredded a milk jug at 25Ft with 00 2 3/4" that was pretty fun too . This gun will make hunting white tail easier than the mossberg i was able to borrow last year. The comfortech stock saved my shoulder, No way will i ever get rid of that one. Love it overall, GREAT Gun. Any other slugs i should try? i was quite happy with these. -The difference in recoil for 2 3/4" 00 and a 3" slug is tremendous! Misfire Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 i always had good luck with Remington copper solids. they seem to knock down more effectively than the federals but are not as accurate. i did all my paper shootin at 100 yds though to so considere that. 50 yds might not show any difference.
