Ejection dings normal I presume?

That is how your m4 ejection port will look after you put many more thousands of rounds through it.

 

The bottom is actually worn more than the top is, it's just impossible to photograph the inside edge of the bottom receiver where all the wearing is.

 

The gun still works 110%, so yea, I'd say it's normal.

i have noticed dings inside just about every auto rifle and shotgun ive ever looked at. in fact when buying a used automatic, its a dead give away to how much its been used.;)

 

Oddly none of my AR's have any except on the little nub that keeps the shells out of my face. The Winchester 1500 I have has none. However, for this platform it is well and normal and if it ever bugs anyone, I suggest the Alumablack.
