doublebarrel
I have a Montefeltro 12 that I love, but when stripping the shotgun for cleaning, the bolt handle is very difficult to remove from the bolt. I have relatively strong hands, but the firm tug described in the owner’s manual will not do it. I have resorted to CAREFULLY using a screwdriver padded with a rag to lever it out, but I am afraid I will mar the receiver at some point. Does anyone else have this problem? It is easy to insert but almost impossible to remove. Looking at the angles on the end of the handle and the groove that the pin fits in, it looks like it should be easy to insert and hard to remove.
