graygoose
Has any one had any experience with using a thicker cast shim or just adding an additional cast shim to the existing one? I seem to need a shim that is about twice the thickness of the standard shim provided. I put the edge of a guitar pick on the appropriate edge and now the gun points perfectly. I haven't shot it yet but the beads figure 8 perfectly for the first time...
tucker301
Never heard of anyone doing it, but I see no reason for it to not be OK to do. Do you have particularly broad shoulders? Just curious as to why you would need the extra cast.
graygoose
I am going to call Benelli tomorrow and get their opinion and order an extra shim. I don't have particularly broad shoulders but I had a neck/shoulder injury a few years ago and making me pretty im****** and it seems it is just the way I set up now... I am pleased that the drop/cast adjustments are as easy as they are with this gun... But the proof will be in some pattern time and some clays
