Nope no problems I haven't used it since spring turkey season last April. Don't have much time to hunt anymore except turkey and I have two turkey guns that shoot great. I traded my old SBE on it and it's a shame to let it sit in the safe. I was thinking about doing some clays and like the looks of the SS.
  2. I'm thinking about trading my SBE II off on a new Supersport. What would be a good money difference or would I be better to sell it myself?

Used one with my SBE I but it won't fit the SBE II got it taped for 40 bucks.
  4. The case is the same one that came with the old SBE's that's why the new chokes don't fit they're longer. I was unhappy about that also. New gun old style case! Come on Benelli If you're going to improve the gun improve the case.

  5. Sorry to hear about that it's got to make you sick I know it would me. It sure sounds to me like the gun is a total loss. I think when you start checking into the cost of the parts you'll find it will be cheaper to replace your loss with a used gun.

Yes, there is a 24" barrel. Yes, you can get it aftermarket, yes, you will have to sell a small child to the gypsies to afford it.

    I like it!.....LMAO

  7. I'm with you JJpoor I don't like the way the finish is so easy to mark. You can buy flat black paint pen from Birchwood Casey but I would rather Benelli parkerize the finish on their guns. If I hang onto this one I'll send it out and have it refinished.

  8. I have a slip-on LimbSaver pad that I carry in my ammo bag and use it when I sight in my gun for turkey loads that would have saved your hunt. I haven't had any problems with my SBE II pad but I also would be VERY upset if mine came up missing durning a hunt. It's hard to believe they didn't find that problem when they field tested the new stock.

If so then it makes me wonder why you never hear from these people.

    Stay tuned.....

Still waiting! The "few days" has turned into a month.

    (Performance Worth the Wait) !?!?!?!?

  11. I've thought of that JK but I didn't want to spend $2000 on a gun and have and extra barrel I'd never use. Guess I could try and sell the Sport II barrel to someone but what a pain!

  12. I know sbebenelli. But I'd like one with a 24 or 26 inch barrel. If they offered a Sport II with a 24 inch barrel I'd have one today. I really like the looks of the gun and the way it points I'd just like the shorter barrel in the woods.

    my 2 cents.

such a whiner for the price of three boxes of ammo.

if you don´t like the gun, go and get another but remember never talk bad about your "horse" or you will never sell it even at half price.

you only see the problem. when you should only see the solution.

When I buy a gun for $1500 bucks and the company logo says:

    "Performance Worth the Price"

I expect that to mean a smooth safety and a flawless working gun out of the box.
