I own a legacy 12 ga and I love it. I was looking at the M1 20 ga for the same purpose.

[Change in SBE vent rib]

What year was the original SBE changed to its current look. I have an older model and the vent rib it not raised like the current ones. I prefer the lowered vent rib and was shopping for a new (used ) one and was wondering what year to look for.
