  2. I am looking for a quality after market tube for my M1 Super 90. Sure Cycle looks good. Anyone have any input??

Take a look at Nordic Components from shootersconnection.com- I really like their setup and their barrel clamp is H#@$ for stout.

  3. I wanted to show everyone the new Mag Clamp I made for my Benelli M1. I designed it in Pro-E (it is a 3D Modeling Software). It has a Mil-Std Picatinny Rail on it (both sides) so that I can mount my Sure Fire light on it. It was machined so that it clamps to the mag tube, but has a slight clearance on the barrel, so that slug impact doesn't change. I plan on finishing it with Brownell's Moly Resin finish in flat black.

Well, as near as I can remember, none of my rifle sling studs are loose on the stock, but I manage to carry them comfortably all day.

  5. Is the front sling attachment ring supposed to still be loose after putting on the mag extender or is it supposed to cinch down tight and not move?

I just picked the shotgun up from my FFL, and when I took the extension off I thought the attachment was rigid, but after putting it back together it can float around.

    Maybe I'm just imagining things.

    Thanks,

  6. I like FP10 for just about everything. Seems to do a good job of lubricating, and it seems to stay put for quite a while (although they claim it works even if you can't see it anymore). I believe it is seeing alot of use in Iraq right now on the M16's.

  7. I am thinking of getting the M1 Tactical with the pistol grip stock. I am 5'-8" with average length arms. I have read that the pistol grip stock is made for very large shooters.

    Opionions on this?

If it needs to be shortened, who should I send it to?

    Thanks,

  8. Is the problem the M1014's stock and pistol grip? Since the practical has an 8 +1 capacity, obiously having a mag extension isn't a problem or they couldn't sell that one over here.

Sure hope Benelli can clear it up for us.

  9. I looked at all of the codes listed by the ATF and there isn't anything I can find that states that a tube magazine on an imported shotgun is limited to 5. 922(v) states that shotguns with mags holding 5 or less are not part of the "Assault Weapons" clause, but doesn't say you can't import them. Where is the code that spells this out?

925(d)(3) only says that you can't make a destuctive device or firearm out of it (IRS Code 5845) but as long as the barrel is longer than 18" and OAL more than 26" it falls under the catagory of "Shotgun" and isn't illegal.

  10. Hey guys, I am new to this forum and new to Benelli's, but I will definitely get an M1 shortly.

For purely tactical purposes, do I need interchangeable choke tubes or will a fixed IC be ok? 00 Buck maybe, but probably #6 for in the house. I have seen several used, and the fixed are cheaper, but don't want to set myself up for disappointment.
