As for pellet size the guide I'm going with said to use triple bbb's and he was very positive about this, i'm use to shooting bb's at geese but, I'll go with what the guide says! Cabela's in Kansas here I come! anyway the 4 shell mag comes in hd camo...perfect for my gun. apparently, this spring snow goose hunt is a big event, the super 8 i'm staying at is all booked!
Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes!

I knew I set myself up for that one!, I was cleaning the sbe 2 last night, and it's the same as my browing pump, remove the cap and take the spark plug out, however, once i put it back together, I checked it out and could still only get 2 3-1/2 inch in
there..3rd one just misses it...the 2-3/4, 3" will fit
3 in there...don't know if I should get the extension, heard that it adds more weight but that's not a concern...anyway thanks for the input!!

I'll be snow goose hunting in MO, in March, says that you can take your plug out...once i take out
the plug what goes back in?

Thanks, for the advice!

Can anyone tell me which brand of swivel will fit
the SBE2?

I have the SBE2 in lefthand camo, you are correct with the bolt recoil spring, i thought the same thing,
but my brother has the sbe1 and i took his bolt out and it made the same noise..but i had to shake it a little harder...probably becasue he's used it alot and he's got oil inside the firing pin because he spray's it with wd40 when he's done...you don't have to do this, i would just wipe down the firing bolt...being careful not to get any oil in the pin hole!
As for the shell jamming, it could be the shells, Benelli says that it take about 100-200 rounds to
break the gun in! You can also call the Benelli help desk, they are very helpful..

I just got my SBE2 lefthand camo 26", after reading about all the possible problems, I contacted
Benelli USA [email protected], they are very
customer service oriented! Anyway, I checked my
tube wrench and it works on all 5 chokes, also it
seems like my butt pad is on pretty tight, as for the
safety, it is a little stiff..but I told them that I would
hunt with it this year and then have them fix it if necessary. I also found out when my gun was made, by giving them the serial number...which was made 2 months ago.

Does everyone who has a lefthanded SBE2 have
the bolt release button and bolt lock switch(on trigger guard) on the right hand side of their guns, I spoke to Customer service and the procuct manager said that they only make it on the rhs...but if you look at the benelliusa website at the lefthanded models it shows some with it on the lefthand side! My left hand sbe2 is all on the right side, which would confirm the product manager. Just wondering if the pictures are wrong!

I just received my sbe2 lefthand camo Oct 30, 2004) i did notice that it was a bit stiff and did click a bit...but i haven't used it as of yet, will use of it break in the spring? if Montelftro is out there? can I use it and then send it back to get the spring replaced if the problem persistes?

I just bought the 26" lefthand SBE2 in Timber camo, I had to wait 2 months to get it from Cabela's and they are a very large dealer. the 26"
camo is the harder one to find...Cabela's in Hamburg, Pa. will be receiving in about 5 of the Max4 28" lefthand version
-
Thanks, for the info...that's why I got it...low maintenance..unlike my Browning Citori 3-1/2.

I finally received my sbe 2 26" camo after a 2 month wait from Cabela's, was curious how you
would clean the camo version since there is no blueing and i use it on the salt marshes of LI?
KUDOS TO BENELLIUSA AGAIN!!
