  1. Well I checked'em and they're both the same. The grip plays by rotating around the feed tube, like its not make enough contact with the barrel. I used the electrical tape as a buffer to take up the excess space.

  2. Alright fellas I have two sbe2s, one of them has a foregrip that has a little play (nothing big just some play, the other has none). Right now I have a little electric tape to fill in the space and get rid of the play. Is there any way I can get rid of the play other than the tape (the idea of having tape on one of my 15 hundred dollar shot guns bothers me). :(

    Thanks much, SBE2

  3. Alright, I just thought of something while getting my benellis ready for turkey season (WHOOOOOO, ITS ALMOST HERE!!!) Every time I clean one of my benellis I lock the bolt open and slam it forwards as though a shell is being chambered. Now, I have an ar-15 and have been told by most its bad to slam the bolt closed on an empty chamber, and I have been told by others that it wouldn't hurt anything at all. So, my question is will doing this hurt a benelli or should I have nothing to worry about? I also would like to know if it is bad, may I have hurt anything, and if so how do I check it for damage?

    Thanks very much, SBE2

  4. I have an ar-15 and two sbe2s. It is safe to dry fire an ar-15, and the bolt of a benelli is like an extra large ar-15 bolt. The fire pins are even very similar. What I am I trying to get at? Both the bolts of a benelli and an a5-15 are similar and it is safe to dry fire and ar-15 so I would think it is safe to dry fire a benelli.

  5. I have not noticed any problems with my camo either. I make sure no oil or cleaner stays on the camo. I use a dry cotton cloth barly spraied with cleaner and then whip the camo with a bone dry cotton cloth. ThermoCell goooood.

  6. I cna't get on the benelli website because of my computer. I was woundering the cost of a Super Nova. Does one of the models come with a SteadyGrip and a slug barrel? If not how much for steady grip gun and slug barrle?

  7. I am not to worried about the kick because whenever I see game I have an immediate, complete ardenaline rush to take care of recoil, plus being beaten up will deepsea fishing helps to. :D I know it will deflect but I have read that high velocity bullets (like a .270, what I shot for deer0 have the possiblity of exploding. If i do get a slug barrel I'll just get a 2-7. Because if I'm going to take long shots I'll use my new .270 All-Weather Ruger I got deer season before last. And yes I do appreciate my dad. So far he has gotten me every gun I have wanted. He thinks guns, hunting, and fishing are good healthy parts of life.

  8. I was consedering getting an R1 for thick brush deer and hog, but hte more I thought about it seemed a little to expensive for me. My dad got me two SBE2s, one comfortech one steady grip, and he said from now on I will have to buy my own guns so the R1 is a little pricey, and a slug seems like it would penetrate brush more easly without exploding like a rifle bullet. So I may get a slug barrel for my steady grip because I will only use the steady grip for turkey if I don't get a slug barrel for it. And I was woundering what was others opinoin on benelli slug barrel accuracy, power, and what type of scope. ;) tongue.gif :D ;) tongue.gif :D

  9. Seeing BLACK JACK's 7400 I was woundering if Benelli has or is going to make a Steady Grip for the R1 or ifg there is another pistol grip stock that will fit the R1. If not I amy get a slug gun for thick brush.

  10. Is that a stock a stock made just for the 7400 or is it a 870 or 1100 stock that you just put on? I do use a bow during bow season, but a bow is a little to civilized for me.
