the owner's manual for the stoeger M2000 says its not recomended to shoot steel with the full choke. How can I shoot long range ducks and geese w/o the full choke? Do they make other choke tubes that can accomidate such loads?
Shooting steel, because of the density difference between steel and lead the following occurs. With a modified choke installed for lead shot the choke actually becomes a full choke using steel. An improved choke for lead would be a modified choke for steel and of course a skeet choke for lead would be an improved cylinder using steel. Simple enough.
I dont know what mod you could make to improve the value of a stock firearm. Most folks want the weapon in its original condition and anything detracts from that.
