In 1978 I was shopping for shotgun and seriously looking at a semi-auto that was exactly like the Super Black Eagle, except it had etched silver bottom receiver finish. Barrel was blued.
Its retail price was around $595, which is comparable to about $1,200 today. I passed.
About 10 years ago I bought a M1 Super 90, with a 21 inch barrel. Best shotgun I have ever used and which now I had bought the one I am asking about.
As I recall, that gun was a German product but not sure. Never see them on used gun market.
Was this a Stoeger or Franchi product or another maker, anyone know?
