    SBEII Trigger

    I have done a few searches and have yet to find a satisfactory answer. I have a SBEII and I would like to improve the trigger. From what I have read it seems like I would have to send my trigger/gun to somebody. Is there a kit I can buy to have a local gunsmith install? Has anybody here modified there trigger? what kind and are you happy with it?

    Finally, I get it.

    My guns will have to take a back seat in this one, and I'm going to have to hope that the 2nd will stand up to any challenges brought forth, because what the heck good are my guns if I have to sell them all to provide for my family?

    Benelli Barrels Left or Right Hand

    I was wondering if anyone could answer a question with regard to barrels on a SBE II. I have a left hand SBE II and would like to get another barrel (28"), but I am not sure if a right hand barrel will work with the left hand model. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone is interested in trading or knows where a guy could get a 28" for my 24" barrel, that too would be great.

    If you have a left haned SBE2 then the bolt handle is on the left

    How you will put a right handed barrel over that????:rolleyes:

    Actually, I just talked to him on the phone …..I asked him to convert my browning BPS 10 to an 8 bore!!!!:)(mudheeeeen… where are you… mudheeeen !!!!!!!!):D

    But… even if it’s not, don’t worry, dear Benelli, …… my master gunsmith will make it in to a DEADLY GUN ,…NO MATTER WHAT!!!

    So, ...you are a PRO ...as your name indicates (and I am glad that you are around!) and I use shells loaded with 3oz. of no.5’s, in both my benelli and my browning guns....

    ......at the end, we don’t have to –NOR DO WE NEED TO- …appease … anyone……

    Hay 3oz,

    My friend just sold both his Ithaca mag 10 and his BPS 10 !!!

    We hunted one day together, he tried with my sbe mythos LEFT handed (I am leftie) that Mr., Theo made for me!!!!

    He went and bought a brand new sbe next day …- it is being converted as we speak!!!

    I think it is that unbelievable barrel that makes the difference (???)!!!

    Maybe Benelli should contact Mr. Theo and ask Him to show them how to make barrels!!!!!!!!!!

    You made me dizzy with your math... ,however, my numbers are very, very very simple.

    There are 680(+/-5)#6 pellets in 3oz, and my Benelli ..... puts all of them inside the ring(30") at 40 yards!!!!!!

    However ,i can not give you the exact number of pellets in the 10" or so that you call the center,simply because that stupid long turkey choke that came with the gun, puts the pellets so close that the paper in the center of the target that you are talking about ...disappears,disintegrates!!!!!!

    You see how simple it is!!!!!!!:)

    Any way ,mudhen, you are a damn good hunter man , i like when you post those pictures of your hunts.

    But don't push me much , or i will post some patterns with my Benelli Mythos ... with 3oz. of #4's, but again, i am afraid that you will ...fall from your chair!!!

    My dove load is 3" , 13/4oz. of nickel plated shot...

    ...the first 15 doves ...that approached my post ......died!!!

    The other shooters couldnt believe their eyes, especially the ones that were holding the original factory made Benellis.

    God bless Benelli-Italy and Mr. Theo for I now have the best gun on earth.

    Absolutely no problem with recoil.

    I have owned a Benelli for almost ...30 years (time goes so fast!!!)

    They were always a better made autoloader....

    Your gun is better made also and you should not have any problems with it.

    You made a good choice and i wish you good hunts in the days to come
