any good things to say about the Franchi Law-12? Only bad thing I could see is that it takes 2 3/4" loads only but then again that's mostly what I shoot anyways. Would a LNIB for about $500 be a good deal?

I have a Remington 11-87 with a deer barrel and rifle sights. I can't hit anything with it. I bought a HK clone semi-auto rifle a month ago with ghost sights and I can hit anything I want with this gun. Yeah it's a rifle and not a shotgun but it doesnt matter with regards to sights. I find I can acquire the target better with ghost rings.

anyone shoot the Fabarm SAT-8 gun? I have a chance to buy one for new for under $900 and a M1 Super 90 tactical new for under $900 as well, both pistol grip. I am interested in opinions on the Fabarm and how it compares to the Benelli. I have a M2 tactical so I was interested in the Fabarm for a bit of brand variety.

how long of an extension? I have a 18.5" barrel and just ordered a mag extension to sit flush with the barrel.

is it necessary to use a clamp for the barrel and mag extension on a M2 tactical?

just got a m2 tactical. What's the best brand mag extension and highest capacity I can go? It has the 18.5 barrel. Searching through old threads didnt give much recommendations.

aside from that, is this a good deal or no? I would prefer ghost rings but I plan on selling some of the accessories and using money from that to have ghost rings added on later...

so what are you saying....this gun isnt the real pre-ban version or is a fake? The pics say Made in Italy, Sterling, VA....

I have a chance to buy a used but as new in box with papers, pre-ban Benelli M1 Super 90 tactical with Daves Metal Works modified bolt handle, Nordic Components Rail, and Streamlight TLR-2 with pressure switch. Factory Benelli extension tube extends just under the 18.5 barrel. Includes one (modified) choke that came with gun new.
Standard grip with rifle sights. Seller says he shot it at most 4 times and says its like new. He sent me several pics and it does look like new. $900 shipped.
good deal? I prefer the standard grip vs the pistol grip but I'm not too sure about rifle sights. I just bought a HK clone HK91 rifle with ghost sights and I shot this gun better than my Remington 11-87 with Hastings barrel and rifle sights, when shooting slugs. Maybe it was the sights that did it. Ghost sights are pretty expensive to add on.
it is worth it without the ghost sights? New M2s are going for about $1050, with ghost sights.
I would be using this to get into more of combat shotgunning at my local range every so often but not hardcore competition tactical stuff. Maybe blasting shells all day up at my parent's farm once in a while as well. I was thinking to ditch the accessories except for the mag extension.

barrel clamp?

my Nordic clamp came loose while shooting today (100 rounds of buck, 10 rounds of slugs, 37 rounds of #4 birdshot). It rubbed some of the matte finish off of the barrel.
how tight is tight when clamping this thing on with the allen wrench? I dont want to overtighten it and damage the barrel or mag tube. Is it bad for the finish to rub off a little like that?
