[New Benelli Nova 12G owner with a question.]

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked with the local wild life/fishing office and indeed 2 in the mag and 1 in the chamber.

[New Benelli Nova 12G owner with a question.]

I just finished reading the owners manual. On the loading instructions it says my Benelli Nova can take up to 4 2 3/4 shells in the magazine. I tried loading it as the instructions indicated and was only able to load 2 shells. When attempting to load the third it would go in about 90% and then stop. Is this normal? Am I doing somthing wrong? I live in Texas and was bought at an Academy Sports and Outdoors. Could it be that Texas prohibits more than 2 rounds in the magazine?

 

Please help. I am new to shotguns and this is my first Benelli.
