  1. Nope, that's the part that pisses me off....I just bought new.

I will have to take it in ASAP. I will check into warrenty....do you know if there is a warrenty or how much it will cost to get it fixed without warrenty?

  2. Hello all,

I just bough a Stoeger Uplander a few days ago and I just got it out to shoot it.

    1. I noticed that it had a really really heavy trigger pull. Is this normal?

    2. I shot 2 boxes out of it and it shot like it should for most of the time, but once and a while ONLY the right barrel would click like it shot and the firing pin would just barely tap the primer without firing the shell.

What should I do/what is wrong...is the right barrel firing pin bad? How much do they cost to replace if that is the case?

  3. Thanks everybody for your opinions, especially Spike. I really appreciate the help. I'm going to go with a 16 gauge side by side so I have power for pretty much any situation from pheasants to quail. Since I don't want another 12 gauge, I think a 16 would be a safe bet for all around use....

    Thanks again

  4. I think I'll be going with the "sweet 16"...my uncle had a model 37 in a 16ga and loved it for pheasants. I would like to use mine for occasional ducks as....at least when I want to deviate from my 12 gauge to mix things up.

    Do you like the Uplanders?

  5. Hello All,

I am looking at buying a Stoeger Uplander for pheasant, quail, partridge, chucker, etc....which gauge is the best? For fun, I don't want a 12 or 20 gauge....I want either a 16ga or 28ga....which one do you perfer?
