I really like the BLAM mount. There are several different mounting options at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. I use a Surefire X300U with a remote tape switch. It does make for a bit of a shadow with the barrel, but I am used to it. I actually have an extra 3/9 o'clock BLAM mount because I prefer the 6 position.

Thank you for all of your help and I am happy to report back I was able to get the GG&G release installed this afternoon. It took about 15min and thats with gathering the tools. Super easy and with the help of you guys made the job a breeze.

Will this video work? I mean without the drilling and tapping as it isn't needed with the GG&G, but the disassembly and assembly is the same from what I can figure out, right?

Thank you StrangerDanger for your tutorials. They are great and yes they blow the bandwidth so most of your pictures don't show. I appreciate the help in advance. I already have the tools for the job and am ready to attack it tomorrow when Im off duty.

I have been looking for installation video/s for the GG&G tactical bolt release. I did a search found some pictures, but would really like a video on this install. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the BLAM mounted on my M4 using Surefire rail. The BLAM is mounted at the 6o'clock position and I am using a Surefire X300 Ultra. nice set up and I was able to solve the rattle with some electrical tape placed on the ring before the install, just enough to take up the tiny bit of space there was. This made for a slightly more difficult install, but works well for me.

Sorry for the late reply, I have been crammed at work. Busy summer for fires. The M4 is a 11707, but was thinking of Cerakoting it to look like the 11717.

As far as a weapon light mount for your new M4, look at the BLAM option. You can find it at: http://corpstechgroup.com

Hello all,
I did a quick search of the site and couldn't find the information I am looking for. I am the proud owner of a M4 and want to Cerakote it. I am looking to get it close to the M11717 camp colors and am wondering if anyone knows what colors are used on the M11717.
If the information has been listed before please let me know.

Looks like the CC has notches/hashes in the recessed bevel screw holes to keep screws torqued?

Welcome to the forum, I too am new to the M4 platform, but not new to firearms. I will be upgrading my M4 with a Surefire forend, Surefire X300 Ultra with XT 7 remote, DMW 1 piece mag extension and follower, and a Cerakote digicam finish. Ill post pics when done.
