I want to see it, but I want even more not to go to a movie theater.
I agree 100%. Have not been to the movie theater in more than 15 yrs.

I heated mine with my wife's hair dryer.
Got the receiver up to about 180 degrees and the magazine started turning by hand.
Had to apply heat a few times to keep it up around that temp or it would get tight.
Seems like there are a million threads there when you start trying to screw it off.
I would rather heat the receiver than the mag tube.
I also used wife's hair dryer. Took about 4 or 5 min. and unscrewed with just a little bit of muscle. It had blue Loctite.

Hi,
Trying to figure out a pattern, not sure if I want to do the whole grip or if it's necessary. Good tip about the Dremel, thanx!
How long did it take?
About 45 min.

I did my M4 like this one with a $5 iron from Harbor freight. I had to buff the high points after I was done because it was cutting into my hand. I used a Dremel with a wire wheel. Not only does it look good, but function is great.

That is exactly how I did mine. I also sprayed the outside surface of the button with truck bed liner which makes it non slip and stealth look.

My M4 will eat anything you can put in it, but when it was new it ran a little sluggish with light loads. This was because it was dry. After putting some oil to the internals it ran like a scared rabbit.

Before you sell try Ace Hardware, they have a large selection of these type of screws.

I would have to agree with strangerdanger 100%. A good low profile and able to co witness the iron sights works out great.

I went with DMW(daves metal works) ordered on Mon. received it on Wed. Color matched, fit perfectly, came with new spring, and works great. I do not know what the fascination is with waiting 3 plus months for CC.

Mine came off with a hair dryer. So it's just how much lock tite they use.

Scored M4 from gunbroker for 1500 shipped. It was a used gun that was never used. I got to tell you that is the sweetest shotgun I have ever shot.
AR Style Safety - Like or No Like?

I agree this would be a good idea. I shoot a lot of AR platform style guns and think this type of safety would feel automatic.
