  1. I like Shooters Choice Bore and Choke cleaner but there are lots of products out there. My guess is that what you're seeing isn't all lead fouling but plastic fouling from the wad/shot cup as well. That plastic is sometimes more difficult to remove than the lead.

Interesting, if I were to describe it looks like you sprayed clear coat over chrome and the parts it didn't stick are nice and shiny while the rest has these dull areas. Thanks

  2. Well I finally had the opportunity on yesterday to break in my Supernova, man is the 14.5" barrel ever loud with slugs, it was so awesome, loud and flames.

My question is what kind of cleaning equipment is recommended for chrome lined barrels? I assume its chrome lined. I had a heck of a time and couldn't get all the lead out of it using Hopps bore cleaner and not sure what type of brush is safe. G96? Copper brush?

    What do you recommend? Thanks.

  3. man, that Benelli is super cool, have a great time with it,glad you stayed strong.

Thanks very much. Really surprised that although its so small its has some good weight to it, well built for sure. Stripped it down, installed some goodies and wiped it all down. We were hoping to get out tomorrow but with the pouring rain. warm temps coupled with melting snow, fields will be way to wet. in fact i had to run a sump pump in backyard cause my shed went under. Hopefully Friday i get to break it in.

  4. You should get to open one for Christmas Eve, right?

I'm embarrassed to admit in order to appease the Santa gods I opened up a friends gift. An ammo box and heated grip kit for my bike were an awesome surprise. I did almost cave and I unboxed the box from its shipping box but the Benelli box is still sealed.

  5. XMas is almost here....have some GG&G accessories under the tree now..they are also waiting. Picked up a case of target loads, kind of like getting a remote control car and having no batteries. Slugs and steel are really expensive in Canada so I think I;ll end up making my own loads.

  6. Well my little Supernova arrived yesterday, I haven't even opened the shipping box because I will nothing to open on Christmas so I decided to hopefully stay patient and keep it under the tree till then. Couldn't believe Canada Post, the shipping terms were signature required, while at work I received an email it was delivered, I was like,,,what. So I logged into my cameras at home and sure enough they just left it on my door step. That is nuts but it safe and sound now.

  7. Congratulations on your Christmas present,I got a Benelli M1014 for an early Christmas present too, still in shock about it,I know how you feel about jumping on accessories,I'm working on them too, everybody here is cool,,they are here to share and help.

Thanks very much, congrats to you as well. Yeah I'm super excited.

  8. They told me because the transfer was already done that they could not exchange it.

You would think they could send in a supplementary form because what if the person made a mistake on the actual serial number, can they issue a correct form, I'm sure it has happened. But hopefully you get sorted soon cause that's a lot of money to spend.

  9. I should ask as well when you seasoned shotgun owners who purchase a new firearm, can you give me any tips on how you prepare your new acquisition. I'm not new to firearms but I'm not that experienced either and this new shotty is my way of getting back into things. Do you completely disassemble everything, loctite picitinny etc.. Thanks

  10. Whet to pick up my M4 and noticed that it had no bolt in it. Called Buds Gun Shop and they will not help me because the guy at the LGS had already processed the white form before I got a chance to finish my inspection. I was picking up three guns I purchased from Buds. And by the time I got to the M4 the guy had already finished with paper work. Benelli CS is helping me out. Just sucks to spend $1550 on a gun and not be able to shoot it. Hopefully Benelli will have me a bolt soon.

Did they have others on hand? There was no possible way to exchange if they had.
