  1. Hi, I have the Briley mag tube extension with the +1 extension and their spring.  I was just wondering how long should the spring be?  I was running it at their stock length, which seems to be ok so far, but have seen some people trim it down.

Follow up on this thread: I contacted Briley tech service and they sent me a CAD drawing of the One Shot with measurements. It was a 1:1 sketch so I printed it, cut it out and using it as a template it looked like it would fit. Ordered the One Shot extension and it came in last week. it FITS! For clearance I have to install the One Shot extension first then screw in the Carlson choke. Just enough clearance doing it this way. Now that it it fits I had to address the issue of not getting the last round in the magazine. Thanks to the info from @Birdog19 post in this thread I was able to shorten the magazine spring without a lot of trial and error. Shortened the spring to 16" sticking out of the magazine and it fit 8 rounds but it felt like the last round was binding the spring just a bit. Cut the spring back to 15" and it leaves some clearance after the last round. Good to Go! I'll hit the range tomorrow and runs dome rounds through it. Pretty happy with the outcome though.

quick question, once you twist the extension off, does the spring come out or is there a c clip in place?

  3. Hi everyone,

I had upgraded my benelli to use the Briley magazine tube and extension as well as their spring.  When my friend put it together he said the tension was really high, I was wondering what is the best and safest method for removing the spring for maintenance?  Thanks,

Buy some dummy rounds and practice loading. You might want the longer shell lifter. I've personally never had a thumb bite from the M4 lifter, but many do.

You might want to replace the bolt release button. Most people do that as well.

Do you have a link for the bolt release button?  Can't seem to find it on their site.

Found some dummy rounds on Amazon, these good?  https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Arms-Gear-Cartridge-Ammunition/dp/B00RG6RI56/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=shotgun+dummy&qid=1594140848&sr=8-1

    thx
