After working great out of the box my Benelli M2 12ga started to develop problems ejecting shells. The gun is 2 years old and all stock. Total shell count is about 700 with mostly target shells and a couple boxes of Federal Upland Steel. Ejection problems started to happen this summer with all types of shells including higher power Upland Steel shells. Completed a deep clean including taking out the recoil spring and trigger group, but the issue remains. On my last trip to the range I had the least problems with Walmart Winchester 1 1/8oz #8 3dram shells (1 shell ejection failure out of 100) but too many failures with Winchester AA Super Sport Sporting Clays 1 1/8oz #8 3 1/4dram (2 shells ejection failure out of 4) and Winchester AA Super Handicap Heavy Target Loads 1 1/8oz #8 3dram (6 shells ejection failure out of 25).
