Are you LEO or MIL? I tried ordering from CMC and was told no (as retired MIL.)
In the end, I ordered an M1014 with the collapsible stock then swapped the recoil tube from my regular M4. Much more practical then spending half the price of a new gun for just the stock.
Yea a Leo...yeah I think only active Leo or mil.

You are much more patient that I am. I would have cancelled my order.
I thought about it. But I paid little over $200 for the stock and they charge I think 20-25 % cancel fee which is ridiculous.. So I just decided to wait.

I ordered one for $267 from cmc over a yr ago and still have not received it. They keep telling me benelli is using all parts(collapsible stock) to build complete guns right now.

Definitely do a full length tube. Never cared much for the two round extensions.
I was out hiking in the Mojave with the M4 with a carbon fiber magazine tube on it. The weight reduction was appreciable. I use the Carriercomp springs since they don’t seem to need trimming to fit seven rounds. I’d use the Briley follower with their tube. Regular followers may not be beveled at the leading edge which may caught the follower to catch on the transition points between the stainless steel threaded end and the body of the carbon fiber tube.
also have you tried the Wolff spring FFT sells on yout briley CF mag tube? you recommend CarrierComp over the Wolff?

After buying the Briley carbon fiber mag tube I had this problem as well. I cut the spring a couple times, but still couldn't get it where I wanted it. I ended up buying a spring from Carriercomp and it worked perfect, no cutting.
with the briley CF, wolff spring and FFT follower..I have no problem fitting 7 rounds

I didnt use any loctite...its been on there good.. i want to be able to take it off and on easily

So I was watching a FFT video and the owner had a benelli m4 with a sling that attaches on the skinny part of the butt stock using a velcro strap. I searched n searched n can not find which sling that is.. Anyone know? Thks

The right answer... you install it while you have her in a different state and pin it so it can't collapse once you settle on which position you want the stock. There are a few methods, but the way I did it was the button pin where you drill a hole in the button, put on a set screw which you can then drop a piece of paper clip in to effectively "pin" the stock so it can't collapse, but is reversible if you ever travel to a different state.
cool thks for the info

Yes... It would be illegal. You're only allowed to have one "evil" feature on semi-automatic shotguns..... Pistol grip being one.
so if I order the collapsible stock, will i still be able to put it on and obviously use it in one position?
-
So does the M4s sold in california not have the three position recoil tube installed?
-
I just ordered the 8 inch version along with the CF mag tube.. wanted to show off the CF tube so had to get the 8 incher:) il post some pics after I receive and install them

I don't get how benelliparts. Net is getting the collapsible stocks in stock when all the other benelli dealers are not able to get them. Makes you wonder
