Is it OK to load a Supernova uncocked? in Benelli Posted April 8, 2021 Contrary to the manual that came with my Supernova, I can load the magazine with the gun uncocked by holding the forearm forward. The advantage is I can keep it at the ready without any spring tension in the firing mechanism. Any harm to the gun or otherwise to load it this way?

Contrary to the manual that came with my Supernova, I can load the magazine with the gun uncocked by holding the forearm forward.
The advantage is I can keep it at the ready without any spring tension in the firing mechanism.
