  1. Gotcha

So when the group is in the gun and uncocked, it's normal for the hamer to move forward and backwards freely making a rattle.

I guess I'm just crazy not remembering hearing a rattle of the hammer at all.

    Thanks

  2. Interesting.

In the OEM frame it was fairly snug and stood up straight. I even re watched a video to confirm others OEM had the hammer not move forward/backwards making a rattle sound.

At the end of the day it's not a big deal however I did want to ensure I didn't screw anything up.

  3. I just set up my A&S frame and noticed the hamer doesn't stay upright on its own while uncocked. It jingles back and forth and appears to be due to the frame being a bit wider than the original trigger frame.

    Any other uses notice this?

    Thanks

  4. I'm a complete m4 noob but through videos I feel comfortable putting parts together. Got the gg&g bolt release pad on myself which was easy as well as my extended mag tube with little trouble.

Watched a vid on setting up the trigger guard and looks fairly easy however I want to make sure this isn't something necessarily better done by a professional to guarantee safety.

Interested to hear people's adventure in putting it on the gun.

    Thanks

Blow dryer for 15 minutes?  Wow OP you got lucky.  I needed an active volcano and the arm strength of Kong.

? I know, I felt VERY lucky. I've been lurking here and reading a lot of stories of this thing not coming off so I was prepared for the worst. Bought a gun vice grip and everything went smoothly. There was really not much locktight on it luckily.

  6. Hey,

Today I got my Briley CF 7 round mag on (highly recommend btw) and luckily the process wasn't as bad as I thought, blowdryer did the trick for 15 mins.

Anyway, I put the spring back in and noticed the last shell isn't getting fed as properly anymore. I know people here have talked about the Wolff spring which I see https://www.midwayusa.com/product/3415575281 here. Wasn't sure if its best to go with a reduced power (doesn't seem right to me) or the 25% extra power.

    Thanks in advance.

Congrats! The easiest 922r path is a US made trigger group. That’s the hammer, trigger, and disconnector. Those 3 parts will allow you to install the extended mag tube. You can go FFT but I much prefer Briley for the money as you get an “improved” trigger for about the same money. Just send Briley the entire trigger group and they’ll install it for you.

Didn't even think of having someone else doing it. Do they offer the mag change and trigger change? Any idea of costs?

    Thanks

  8. Hey everyone!

I've been lurking and doing a lot of research since I picked up my Benelli. I'm in NY so I have to triple check a requirements.

My plan is to extend the mag with a CF Briley. I know I would need 2 more American made pieces to be 922 compliant so I was wondering whats the more reasonable route to do so price wise and ease of configuration wise.

Other than that, I wanted to see what recommendations you all had on a shell saddle, light mount and flashlight, and lastly a good red dot that's not gonna break the bank. Anyone enjoy their halosun?

    Thanks in advance.
