I just like my guns short unless I'm hunting. Tax stamp addiction is a real thing.
I’m right there with you, my 18” benelli was the longest gun I owned with everything else being a pistol/SBR

I sold my Benelli M4 this past weekend because I bought it when I was uninformed and it had the pistol grip stock and 5 round tube. I’m now stuck between buying the full length with 7rnd tube and collapsing stock or the SBS. It realistically will never be used for anything more than shooting at the range. Thanks for any input you can provide on the decision!

Cutting an 18 to a 14 is not a great way to go. The design of the barrel is such the OD increases at the end where the sights are, if you cut it down the OD will not be nearly as thick at the new end.
Thanks for letting me know, the place that quoted me didn’t mention that haha. For the price they quoted it didn’t make sense to do it anyways though.

Get it cut down if you can’t find a 14 maybe
I could just do that with my current 18”. I’d spend less just selling the current benelli I have at a loss and buying the entry model.

Complete new 18" barrel assembly with fixed choke available, make an offer.
I don’t understand what this has to do with wanting a 14” barrel

Freedom fighter tactical just listed some for sale… at the price of an entire shotgun.
Sorry, meant to quote you in my above post

Of course he does, I refuse to buy anything from him because of the obnoxious prices he charges. Hopefully that means some places that don’t suck may be getting some in stock.

I know it’s a long shot since they’re unobtanium but figured I’d at least give it a shot before I sell my 18” and buy an entry.
Yet another SBS vs full size post

Is there any noticeable difference in recoil between the entry and full length?
