shotgunner.la Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Waterfowl season is over. I want to DEEP CLEAN my M2. I had never done this and when the gunsmith Cerakoted it he mentioned HAY deep in the bolt and the in the tube for the recoil spring. I can get the piece all the way taken down except the bolt. Thus I look for a M2 Takedown Manual to learn the procedure for this. Failing that, can anyone describe the method for taking the bolt assembly apart. That is beyond removing the firing pin and spring. I want to separate the bold face from the bolt. TIA and good shooting. shotgunner Quote

You can download the M2 manual as a pdf from this page of the Benelli site. http://www.benelliusa.com/downloads/manuals.php For disassembly of the recoil spring tube, I refer you to this post by forum member Remarkable (post #2 of this thread) http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9475 Later, Hookster Quote
shotgunner.la Posted February 14, 2010 Author Posted February 14, 2010 Thanks. I don't remember seeing that in paper form when I bought the gun. Now I have it. That was easy! shotgunner Quote
