Camo Nova Inside of Barrel Flaking

Hello,

 

I purchased my nova a few months ago and have just used it for trap shooting the second time. I've only put about 180 rounds through the gun. Upon removing the barrel and looking side I see a coating of some sort flaking away from barrel, is this a normal condition? Very happy with gun otherwise but this is my first gun and not sure what this is

nevermind, while cleaning was afraid to use the wire brush extension, but turns out just powder or something got a bit to learn but trying to take the best care possible to make my first gun last,,,,,sorry for trouble if you view this
