pablo Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I've owned a 12ga monte for a few weeks with about 250 shells through it so far. To load the first shell, I lock the bolt using the trigger switch and then release it to load the shell using the button on the side of the receiver. (using 2 3/4 in shells) Occasionally, the bolt does not twist closed and the gun won't fire. Any tips on a fix? Thanks, Paul Quote
wallhanger54 Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Make sure you have sufficient oil in the gun. The myth that "you dont need to oil a Benelli " is entirely false. Get some oil into the recoil assembly and put some oil on the bolt rails, it'll make a big difference. Also let the bolt slam shut, it's the way it's designed to work. Quote
