Supernova/Nova Question

Is it normal for the bolt to unlock and the slide to come back about half way if the gun is dry-fired when holding it at a near verticle position? I just got a supernova a few days ago and havn't seen this happen in my Moss. 500 or Rem. 870.

ive seen several of them do that they dont seem to have anything wrong with them

That's normal. Wait till you shoot some big stuff out of it, you may not have to eject, just push the forearm forward..
